Gina DeBenedetto-Forcella- Owner/Director- brings 30 years of experience to her school. She has toured professionally in the USA, Canada and Europe. DeBenedetto-Forcella was a recipient of the Phyllis Dewbrow Scholarship while dancing with the American Dance Machine and soloist with the New Jersey Dance Theatre Guild. A dedicated and gifted teacher and choreographer, she has won numerous awards for her beautiful and entertaining choreography in all forms of dance. Since 1985, she has been the successful owner/director of Dance Stop Dance Educational Center, and has incorporated a diverse group of extremely talented teachers to her staff. Well known for her children’s work and her loving ability to make dance fun for the students and at the same time develop the children to their fullest potential. Her students have won many scholarships and National Competitions throughout the country.

Michael Minery- a tap dancer and choreographer of extraordinary talent, has performed throughtout the U.S. and Canada. Mr Minery is on staff of major dance organizations and teaches workshops throughout the US. He is also on the faculty of Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Currently, Mr Minery can be seen every weekend performing at the famous Supper Club in Manhattan. Look for Mr. Michael’s hot new tap video.
Sara Pyun- an accomplished choreographer in jazz and lyrical and is a four time winner of the Korean National Rhythmics Championship and has also participated in the 24th Seoul Olympic Games in 1988. She has trained extensively in New York City, Korea, and Los Angeles. Currently, Ms Pyun is involved with commercials and workshops both in U.S. and Korea.
Nicole Sileo-received extensive training and built her foundation of dance under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Gina for over 14 years. Her natural ability to instruct young children is one of her true assets for the dance studio. Ms.Nicole is one of the premiere tap dancers to graduate from Dance Stop and has trained and choreographed many of the high powered and exciting award competition numbers held throughout the U.S.
Lauren LanFranchi- received extensive training and built her foundation of dance under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Gina for over 16 years. Her calm demeanor and charm allows children to grasp the quality dance lessons that she teaches. Ms. Lauren has trained and choreographed many beautiful lyrical and jazz award winning numbers in competitions throughout the U.S.
Melissa Braine- received extensive training and built her foundation of dance under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Gina for over 17 years. Ms. Melissa’s strong commitment and dedication to the studio has been one of her strongest attributes which has allowed her students to receive the most advanced and thorough dance training.

Jennifer Cardino- received extensive training and guidance from Ms. Gina over the past 11 years. Her intense energy level and love for dance is appreciated and accepted warmly by all of her students. Ms. Jennifer has a tremendous ability to motivate her students to achieve the highest level of dance education.

Rosemary Sabovick-Bleich, Ms. Bleich has been teaching for over 15 years. She is on the faculty of the NJ School of Ballet, The NJ Theatre Ensemble. She was a member of the NJ Ballet Company and was their Principal Ballerina until her retirement from the stage in 2002.

Tina Finkleman, will teach contemporary dance classes that are certain to create a new educational dimension for our students. Tina hails from the Notario Dance Company. She has been recently hand selected by the legendary Mikhail Baryshnikov's to perform in his latest work "The Hell's Kitchen Project" in New York City.

Al Blackstone- Al Blackstone began his training with his parents at their school in Brick, New Jersey.  He has been featured in various television and live events including NBC's AMERICAN DREAMS and dancing with Paige Davis in a commercial for TLC's TRADING SPACES.   Al was a performer and Assistant Choreographer for an episode of Nickelodeon's DRAKE & JOSH SHOW and was dance captain for a revival of AC Ciulla's FOOTLOOSE in 2005. He has performed at the International Dance Festival of Korea with Liz Imperio's Instincts Live Media Dance Co. and in NIGHTS ON BROADWAY 3 at Caesars in Atlantic
City. He is currently on the staff of The New Dance Group Arts Center in NYC and is thrilled to be working with the talented students of The Dance Stop!
  Matt Boyce, has been studying for over 8 years with mike minery. He was a principle dancer of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble for four years. At the age of 12 he was the youngest principle dancer ever. He performed all over new jersey with the company , as well as New York performing at theaters such as NJ PAC , with the New Jersey Symphony, and Merkin Hall , with the Tap City Festival. Matt is currently in the new tap company called Tapaholics. He has been with them from the beginning since may of 2003 when the company had its debut in NYC.  Matt is also an accomplished musician, studying piano for 13 years now and plans to attend Montclair State University in Fall 2005 to study Musical Therapy.
  Lindsay Ritter, received extensive training and built her foundation of dance under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Gina, Sara Pyun and Michael Minery. Lindsay has been a recipient of both Regional and National titles and has recently received the Dance Spirit Award given by Dance Spirit Magazine.
  John Barrella, John has studied all forms of dance including ballet, jazz and modern. He is known for his fun and creative hip-hop classes. He is currently part of the Eric Sampson hip-hop company.
 

Amanda Cilento- Amanda Cilento has been dancing for 17 years and has received extensive training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical and Acro. Amanda was a gymnast for 4 years in which she competed at a state level. She is currently attending Rutgers University where she is on the Rutgers Dance Team.
